Why you should attend this year’s Summit:

This educational Summit will enable the Intelligence Community, military intelligence organizations and industry partners to come together in a collaborative, town-hall forum to encourage open and honest conversation regarding the technical vulnerabilities of the IC.

Due to the massive quantity of data available, analysts in every service and intelligence agency are working tirelessly to produce a holistic conclusion of each data source. The Intelligence Community is working to incorporate useful analytical resources and tools to fuse together such sources and allow their leaders to develop well informed decisions. The main objective of this year’s forum will be to allow intel leaders the opportunity to share their struggles in effectively exploiting data. Solution providers will offer their expertise and analytical tools to mitigate the mass influx of information and aid the IC in achieving mission success.

With the adoption of IC ITE, inter-agency information sharing has become both expedited and secured, helping to process the significant influx of data in today’s age. In the years ahead, one of the IC’s greatest challenges will be increasing automation at a rate that allows the IC to exploit a diverse set of data streams.  This summit will encourage members of the IC to develop innovative approaches to not only process larger quantities of data, but to decipher more complex and intricate data. Such a dialogue in a non-attributed setting, will allow for solution providers and thought-leaders to join together in crucial discussion regarding the advancements and progress of Multi-INT resources and tools.

New Topics for this year’s Summit:

-Current successes with the IC Enterprise Management and IC Desktop Environment Programs, and understanding what technical gaps industry can help with

-Advancements in fusing information stemming from different sensors and disciplines to develop accurate decisions

-Coordinating with partner agencies and industry to implement off-the-shelf and ready to install intel solutions at a quicker pace and cost-effective scale

-Understanding how to effectively prioritize in a budget-constrained environment while not compromising data security measures

 – IC ITE’s role in employing big data tools and leveraging analytics to improve the Multi-INT landscape

-Progress in safeguarding information within the cloud to ensure that while sharing is encouraged between the IC, the integrity of data is not compromised
